The music on these CDs is drawn from the choir’s repertoire over many seasons of singing at Christmastide in churches and stately homes around the region. We have included music from four centuries, and from several countries; but many of the pieces have been part of the musical fabric of a British Christmas for years. We have featured four settings by John Joubert, the choir’s President, with whom we have had a long and fruitful musical relationship.
