Will you become a Friend??

Cappella Novocastriensis is a choir of about 40 singers directed by Dr Eric Cross, Dean of Cultural Affairs at Newcastle University. We perform both sacred and secular choral music, performing two main concerts per year in addition to several other concerts and services. We sing well- and lesser-known works, by composers through the ages. We have also commissioned several new works, many by our Patron, John Joubert.

Cappella is a registered charity, which aims to bring a wide range of music to the public. We are self-supporting and as such are always keen to find regular financial support. One way in which we do this is via our Friends scheme.

We would like to invite you to become a Friend! This provides us with a small but predictable regular income. We ask for a minimum donation of £25 per year. In return we will send you one ticket to each of our two main concerts in the year (Christmas and Easter), as well as information about other forthcoming concerts.

Some of our Friends also provide help with publicity, lighting, sound recording, or transport, and also help on concert nights with ushering or selling tickets and programmes. We are grateful for any particular skills which you can offer!

If you would like to become a Friend, please contact Helen at the address below. Please feel free to contact her by telephone or email if you have any questions.

Thank you very much for your support. It is very much appreciated!
